Kaipo Kapua
A Hawaiʻi artist whose direct collaboration with FIJI produced “Home,” a song co-written by Kaipo Kapua and George Veikoso.
A song about home, created together.
Kaipo Kapua and FIJI are connected by “Home,” released in 2023. The recording credits both Kaipo Kaleiilima Kapua and George Brooks Veikoso as composers and lyricists, with both artists performing on the track.
That makes “Home” more than a shared appearance. It is a piece of music the two artists created together — a direct part of George’s recording legacy and Kaipo’s own catalog.
For FIJI Fest, the song gives Kaipo’s appearance a natural story centered on home, Hawaiʻi, and the relationships George built through music.
