Jeff Rasmussen
A guitarist and longtime Hawaiʻi musician whose work appears inside FIJI’s recordings and extends into George’s final era of collaborations.
A musician inside the records.
Jeff Rasmussen’s connection to FIJI is rooted in the recording studio. He is credited on guitar on FIJI’s 2001 album Transition, placing him directly inside one of George’s key albums.
That connection continued decades later. Jeff is also credited on guitar on the 2025 “Cruise (Remix)” by Lomez Brown, Finn Gruva, and FIJI — a recording released in the final year of George’s life.
Jeff’s story shows another layer of FIJI’s musical world: the instrumentalists and session musicians whose work helped shape the sound behind the voice.
